2009-07-06 [Evolution X]: and maybe we might consider the fact this is not weighed down in the realms of reality M? I'm not saying rabies is cureable, just I don't wanna kill off Garth and Chel said I can keep him alive.
2009-07-06 [Synirria]: And actually Rabies isn't Incurable. If a human is bitten by an animal with Rabies, they have a vaccine for it. And you can't always go by what Wikipedia says because all those posts can be changed and become...there
http://en.wiki
2009-07-06 [NOOOPE]: you have to have the vaccine... before you get the disease. It creates an immunity, it doesn't cure an already present disease. I'm just providing facts, guys. If the facts bother you, maybe you shoulda familiarized yourself with 'em before now.
If we wanna make up a story for some rabies like disease the lab was working on for some reason, then, ok, we can play, but I think it's a bit silly making assumptions and spitting falsehoods.
2009-07-06 [Chel.]: OK
How about it isn't rabies? Has similar effects and acts like rabies but isn't?
To be honest, idk why Claude would keep rabid wolves. They would be of no use.
Maybe they were testing a deadly disease on the wolves to see if their immunities could handle it and to form a vaccine but it failed with a few subjects (the one that bit garth)...
2009-07-06 [Synirria]: I dunt care...*Shrugs
2009-07-06 [Flisky]: Rabies is so curable. It's a very long needle, a painful injection, right in the butt. (Trust me, it's not pretty.) There are no assumptions made on my part. And it would be perfectly normal for a lab to test something like that on wolves that they were just planning on killing (by throwing against other wolves) anyway.
2009-07-06 [NOOOPE]: But that medication is given early in the disease's progression. After a certain point, you're fucked. Least that's what I read. And I have never heard of them doing that with animals. Humans and animals react to the virus differently.
2009-07-06 [Flisky]: Oh, they don't. Mainly 'cause there's no way to really tell with an animal until they go all feral on you. Which really sucks.
But with the wolves, are they really animals? Or humans? (Another point of unrealisticali
2009-07-06 [NOOOPE]: But like Chel said, she'll think of something, so forget it.
2009-07-06 [Chel.]: OK LISTEN UP!!
From now on unless you want your character to die-- DON'T give them a fatal disease. Do research first...even if these are super healing wolves.
At this point, SCREW IT- Garth has a 'curable' rabies...or something else similar to it. Let's take a little reality out of it for the sake of rping.
THE POWER OF CHEL COMMANDS IT.
2009-07-06 [Flisky]: *bows down to the mighty Chel*
2009-07-06 [Chel.]: Fisk... our characters are WOLVES that can shift human. It's in the rp description fyi.
2009-07-06 [Flisky]: *sighs* I know. That's what I was pointing out. And if the medicines that worked on humans didn't work on us, then Lakota's med-room would be semi-pointless
And that's all I have to say about that. I'm done. *falls over*
2009-07-06 [Chel.]: I think we are all too stressed over little details... shall we sing?
2009-07-06 [Flisky]: Kumbiya my lord. Kumbiya. (Is that how you spell it?)
2009-07-06 [Chel.]: Kumbaya ^-^
2009-07-06 [Flisky]: *snaps fingers* That's it. Kumbaya, my lord. Kumbaya.
2009-07-06 [Evolution X]: Rabies is cureable, yes it is fatal but so is EVERYTHING if it isn't cured. I'm sorry, it's just when it said they were bitten by rabid dogs I thought "Well, scratches and bites ok but what if we pick up something bad in there?" Sorry, I won't do it again.
2009-07-08 [Flisky]: *cricket chirps*
2009-07-08 [Chel.]: Seriously does this thing need a jump every week? -_-'
2009-07-08 [Flisky]: Where is everyone? (I can't post until AT does...)
